Jaffa juices comply with the latest EU food requirements
In July 2024, the Jaffa brand began the transition to a new “tethered cap” in its beverage packaging. The move to a new type of cap is part of the company’s program to adapt its products to the requirements of EU regulations on the use of attached plastic caps, which come into force in 2024.
Vitmark-Ukraine is one of the first companies in Ukraine to implement the latest EU requirements and switch to a tethered cap in the line of its flagship brand Jaffa. Regulations on this type of cap are coming into force in connection with new directives aimed at reducing environmental pollution by plastic waste and improving the recycling of product packaging.
In June-July 2024, the transition was made in the 0.95 l format.
“The Jaffa brand is an innovative producer of juices, nectars and iced teas. Exporting juices under the Jaffa brand to more than 20 countries ensures that the company’s specialists have knowledge of global trends and monitor the latest requirements for food products on the international market,” – says Maksym Protopopov, Jaffa brand manager. – “The transition to a new cap is a logical step for the Ukrainian brand, which cares about reducing environmental pollution by plastic waste and improving the recycling of product packaging.”
