“Nashi Vershky” from Odesa Baby Food Plant

In 2023, Odesa Baby Food Cannery launched the production of ultra-pasteurized cream under the “Nashi Vershky” brand. Since April 2024, the range has been supplemented with 15% cream in two formats: TGA 0.5 kg and TWA 0.125 kg.

Cream with 15% fat content is widely used for cooking. The company offers two packaging formats: a 125-gram single-serve pack, which is the lowest price per portion, and a 500-gram larger pack, which is intended for both reusable and family consumption.

To perform milk processing, a new workshop was built and the latest equipment was purchased to process raw milk and make products using ultra-pasteurization technology. Fresh milk of the highest quality, sourced from trusted farms, is instantly processed at ultra-high temperature (UHT) to keep it fresh and nutritious for longer.

In 2023, the cream market recovered to the level of 2021 in terms of volume, exceeded the figures for 2021 in financial terms, and continues to grow. Therefore, having introduced 10% of cream to the market last year, the company expects sales growth in 2024 with an expanded range.
