The most popular iced tea brand NESTEA® gets back into Ukraine market

One of the leading Ukrainian producers of drinks and baby food Vitmark-Ukraine and Nestlé Waters have signed the strategic partnership agreement. According to the agreement Ukrainian company received the production and distribution license of iced tea NESTEA® in Ukraine and Moldova.

The real NESTEA® will get back into the Ukrainian market in March. And will be presented by the favorite tastes of Ukrainian consumers – lemon flavored black tea and peach flavored black tea, and new unique taste – herbal tea with mint flavor. Vitmark-Ukraine will produce Nestea drinks in two package formats– 0.5 liters PET bottles and 0.95 liters aseptic cartons, with updated but well recognized Nestea label design.

“Until 2018 NESTEA® has been the ultimate leader of this beverages segment in Ukrainian market. The signed agreement will help us to recommence our operations in this market, and we are certain that joint co-operation with our partners, Vitmark-Ukraine, will return the beloved brand to Ukrainian consumers and restore leadership of NESTEA®” said Gareth Jones, Head of Tea in Nestle Waters.

The iced tea category is rapidly growing and gaining popularity in Ukraine. According to our data the volume of category has increased at least by 25% last year. We are confident that this partnership will open new opportunities for the development of the NESTEA® brand in Ukraine”, said Vitali Vinitski, president of Vitmark-Ukraine.

The real NESTEA® in the upgraded design is getting back into market in March this year.
